Excellent composition here. I can feel the humidity in the air in this shot. Well done once more!

Digital or film - doesn't matter - this is a wonderful
photograph, Michael. Well composed, interesting, and great
colors.

Nice shot and good strong lines.
I find the trouble with digital is you don't get out to meet obliging girls as Walgreens - lol.

Cindy And Pat:
Thanks very much.
I always under-expose it at least 1/2 stop.
I have found that with the MP, I do just as well shooting at ISO 160, and using standard processing. It is much better than Reala, IMO, except in really bright sunshine.
There are a couple of shots here where I pushed it to 400, processed
At 100.
Overdone colors.
Next time I mess up like than, I'll just tell them to set it for 200.
There's a gal at Walgreens who'll do anything I ask...

Ektar is my favorite film, but it can be hard to handle. You have mastered it. The light here is amazing. This is spectacular.
I love the bridge. I've never seen one quite like it before.

Well, guys, thatks.
I just brought that shadows up a little.
The awesome mid-summer light right after daybreak in Memphis that day was amazing.
The day started foggy by the river. I went out to shoot with my MP, loaded with Ektar, and my M8.
As I was standing by the Mississippi and amaEd at the swiftness of the current, the sun broke though (the temp topped out at 103 that Sunday) and just shot as the fog burned off...
No filters, Hal.

I am not sure what the treatment is here Michael but it is very effective. It is well composed to begin with, but the colour is stunning.

This is a wonderful shot Michael, from the foreground interest in the rocks. Which leads nicely along the river bank, which in turn leads to that wonderful bridge.

Wow, this is wonderful, Michael.
l don't know what you did, but it sure is effective.
Almost looks as though you had a very pale yellow filter on.
Spectacular and sharp all the way though.
