Wow, you can do a panorama in camera? Wish mine would do that. This is really a nice place and it looks about lunchtime....Grab something to eat and enjoy in the Gazebo! :)

Thanks Pete, Jim, Bob, Michael, Mohamed, Rudi and Hal.

Rudi, I love it. It isn't perfect, but this camera is moving in the right direction. I will be able to use my manual focus Pen-F, Leica M, and Minolta MD/MC lenses on it. That is the big draw for me. Lack of an EVF is a minus, but the Sony TruBlack LCD is the best that I have seen. I am not having any trouble composing on it. (BTW, there are Sony Alpha, Canon FD and EF (not optimum), Nikon, Pentax, etc. adapters, too).

If you hold the camera in landscape orientation when taking the pano, you get the long, thin pano. If you hold in portrait, you get roughly the size that I did here. You just hold down the shutter button and pan, so it is hard to tell how many shots are being combined. It won't make the photo if you have panned too fast. Also, I've heard that if there are a lot of people in the scene, you won't get a good result. The photo pops up on the review very quickly, so you can see what you are getting. It is pretty amazing!

This is a lovely warm summery shot, Cindy, as has already been said.
l would never have picked it as a Pan shot. Excellent work
