Thanks very much.
I believe there are very few coincidences in life.

What a gorgeous image of a wonderful old building, Michael - the black and white treatment is very dramatic here!

Wonderful photo of a beautiful Church, Michael.
The story of the building of this church in the 1830's is fascinating.
Thanks for introducing this old building to us.

Michael,
You know I would love to go there. I love the south so much. I read the article on this Church and it sounds like a treasure. I'll be looking forward to window detail this week.

Cindy:
i have been turning that over in my mind.
I think there was the intent to have stained glass, but the panels look original.
There was not a soul around to ask, but I am going to ask.
I am going to post a little architectural detail of the clear windows on the sides tomorrow.
There are color shots on meephoto, my site here, too.
You'd love that little town.
Two churches of great beauty, and two antebellums of amazing detail, including one where that animal, Gen. William T. Sherman quartered himself for a while.
There will be more from our accidental find east of Memphis.

Michael, The building is indeed beautiful. Do you think that the windows in the front have been covered up over time, or is that original architectural detail?
