Message from Dick Cooper
Retirement allows me time to do the things I truly enjoy, like wandering the woods of Quabbin with camera in tow. "Quabbin" is a Nipmuc Indian word meaning "meeting of the waters" and refers to the cofluence of the east, central, and west branches of the Swift river. Located in north central Massachusetts, it is one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the U.S. and includes some 55,000 acres of pristine watershed forest, 40,000 of which is open to the public. Here there is a large variety of flora, fauna, and some of the most beautiful scenery in New England. I hope you enjoy the images? If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I would enjoy hearing from you. God bless.
