While in Gion, we came across a group of men with cameras who were on the hunt for the ever elusive Geiko (Geisha in the Kyoto dialect) & Maiko (Apprentice). Within 15 minutes I spotted a pair and pointed them out - Holy smokes it was like wolves to the prey - I caught this one while she was being buffeted by flashes. After that it was no more for me...I didn't like the paparrazi way one would rush these women...no thanks.
