SHERIFF'S LABOR DETAIL

Fort Worth, TX

I took this pic on Friday but I thought it fitting for today. I've had nothing but issues in the last week with stuff with my house. My garbage disposal went out, The guest bathroom toilet handle broke and my hot water heater is in the fritz. Found that out when I tried to take a shower.

The city jail takes non-violent prisoners or folks that have to do community service out to pick up trash and what not on the side of the road. This was one of those groups and therefore the title of labor detail. The prisoners will throw the trash into the trailer behind the truck. Since they were working and not far from my house, I figure the Sheriff could lend me a few of the guys working to fix all the crap I need fixing. :)

And you volunteered to help? Not like you're busy or anything.

They clean the roads here in Fl Too! Nice shot Cindi...and tell our friends that speak funny English that labor is spelled right, and there's more of us :-)

Nice the sheriff can do that, it would be degrading up here to make them do some menial work! Good luck with the heating element, don't forget to empty the water heater before unscrewing! :-)

Good one here and hope things get fixed for you soon !

As long as you can take the photo, it means you're not in it.

That's the first thing I noticed as well. "Labor" is spelled wrong. :-)

Two things come to mind.......it never rains but it pours........things always come in threes!
We have a similar arrangement , but I have never seen a trailer this big. And I thought we had a lot of litter over here.

bad luck about all that has gone wrong...hate it when it's one on top of the other!!

That's a very non-British sentence. We don't generally have sheriffs, spell labor differently and don't really understand what you mean by 'labor detail' here either!
