Well, we're getting ready to celebrate the birthday of one of my best friends. Jeff, Lisa's husband, is turning 50!! I'm meeting them downtown in a couple of hours and we're going to go eat and then meet a ton of friends at Hyena's Comedy Club to laugh our butts off and then we'll probably all go dancing. Lisa and Jeff were my rocks when I had the big C. Lisa is a survivor as well so there is a bond there that will never be broken. Being able to celebrate this milestone with my friends is a blessing. I owe them both more than I can ever repay. Heck, I may even have a glass of wine tonight even though I don't drink! I will have to toast this one!
I'll be posting pics of the celebration tomorrow. I can't wait. We're going to have a blast! I remember my 50th...the party was at their house and all of those I love were there. Here's to paying it forward!
