ACCIDENTS HAPPEN

Fort Worth, TX

I was on my way to pick up a couple of things and this lady accidentally hit my Jeep. She was so sweet and no one was hurt, we exchanged information and got the claim filed....now off to my interview! (UPDATE) And, btw....the interview went great! Will know in about a week on the job.

Anywho, back to the accident, the picture are two stitched together. Her truck on the left and my Jeep on the right. I think I'll take a few more pics as this wasn't that good and I was standing in the middle of a busy street. After we each other's information, I hugged the lady and told her that is why we have insurance. She was very sweet, just didn't see me as I was driving down the road. I swerved to try to avoid her but she caught my back passenger's side door. Thank God, both vehicles were still intact to be able to drive and that no one was hurt! Things can be replaced, people can't. If you get mad at a situation that happened and there's nothing you can do to change it, why make it worse? Just realize that it happened, deal with it and try to make it as painless as possible. Yeah, the Jeep is new to me but things happen. She didn't mean to and was such a darling and I wish her, her grandaughter and great grandson hugs. It could have been much worse and now the insurance companies can deal with everything else.

I'll take it in the next day or two to get a rental....gotta clean out my Jeep first...have a lot of equipment in it.

Hey Cindi,
What an unnerving experience. I'm glad all was well and nobody was hurt.

Well, you were both not hurt and a car is just a car. More important: the interview went well!!!

Glad the interview went well. I thought the pic was of it stiched together, but then again I knows little old ladies truck big ole pickums.

Things happen! A little putty and paint and the jeep will be fine and I believe you will be also!

Good to know you didn't get hurt... that's the most important thing. Per the norm, your camera was handy. :) Jv

Poor Cindi, poor old lady, but you were kind and civil to one another and that is more important.

An older lady rear ended me at a stop sign and she hugged me when I told her there was no damage. I, like you, did not come out shooting!

At least it was someone with insurance that hit you...most people in this area get hit by illegal immigrants that don't have a license or insurance.

Yikes, she didn't see all that red and chrome! That's worrying!!
