We had an old packard rusting in our yard. When I was eight-nine, one summer I opened a store in it, selling limonade and candies, we where in a small village with no store. :) I probably made 15¢ of profit that summer :). But my real job was picking up bottles along the highway. A wagon full of them, every couple of days. With one wagon full I'd get a few chips, chocolate bars, couple of pops, and sometimes a superman or black hawks comic.
