Many of you know that I'm a Breast Cancer Survivor. 4 years out now. I had so much in mind to shoot but decided to go with some personal items. The picture on the left is of myself and two other survivor friends, Lisa and Jeanne. The middle picture is of a man I worked with who did the Ironman in my honor and the picture on the right is of close friends who were there on my 50th birthday, to celebrate me getting there! The items in the middle include a Susan G Komen Research Center umbrella, my hat I wore on the last walk and the little bear my friend gave me during my fight. I have a lot more things but thought these were enough. Since this particular challenge is close to my heart as I have survived cancer as well as a few other Pbasers here, I just want to thank Bev and Lee for the topic. This one will be something that I'll cherish. So, those of you that don't go to get your mammograms, do so and guys, that means you checking your's too. It can hit men as well as women. And, for all of those of you who have lost friends or know of people that are going thru cancer, show your support by donating either time or money if you can to the cause. We need to find a cure for Cancer in our lifetime. It made me stronger and gave me a new look at life so there are positive things that can come out of it. I also try to make it a point to reach out to those that need me as I've been there. So, lift up your prayers and pray that a cure will be found soon. Thanks to everyone who partook in this challenge....a deep heartfelt thanks!
