As a birder one cannot visit Vancouver without visiting Stanley Park, and one cannot visit Stanley Park without visiting Lost Lagoon, so this was always a must stop for Dave. It is also a place to look for rarities like Tufted Duck. Unfortunately the only one I ever saw on one of my trips with Dave was a hybrid with a scaup. Dave, with his usual humorous, carefree attitude about birding, figured he could count this bird as both species.
