Dave took many trips to Vancouver and Vancouver Island, often with his two daughters, Denise and Susanne. This was one of several that I accompanied him on. I believe it was taken somewhere on Iona Island. One of the most common birds in these coastal habitats is Glaucous-winged Gull.
