This is one of the better photos I have yet to see of this section of Yankee Stadium. The clarity is rare for a photo this size, and it shows something that is not seen during a telecast of a ballgame, that being the net which protects the retired numbers from batted baseballs. But as great as this photo is, like many others it neglects to show the actual area of Monument Park where the actual monuments are located. A tough photo I agree, but in the dozens of photos I have seen, I have yet to see what it really looks like. Maybe a shot from the bleachers?
