Vila Bela de Santíssima Trindade

At one place south of Vila Bela de Santíssima Trindade we found a huge flock of seedeaters gathering in roadside bushes. In addition to the large numbers of Black-and-tawny Seedeaters, we also had chance to study several male Dark-throated Seedeaters, which are austral migrants from further south, and several beautiful Long-tailed Ground Doves Uropelia campestris, a lovely pigeon found across a large swath of interior Brazil.
