Agelaius humeralis humeralis
Tawny-shouldered Blackbird is otherwise restricted to Haiti, so most birders will want to make sure they see it in Cuba! Fortunately, it is not difficult to find. Two subspecies have been named from the Cuban archipelago. This is nominate humeralis, which is found throughout the main island, whilst the proposed subspecies scopulus is restricted to Cayo Cantiles, which lies south of the main island, between the Isle of Pines and Cayo Largo.
