I made this for a friend who's having a baby. They didn't know if it was a boy or girl when I made it, and the mom-to-be was really worried about "pastel baby colors" in the quilt. I used green and purple with yellow, but as you can tell, the colors are brighter than what would normally be used in a baby quilt. I also used some lovely swirling dragonflies fabric for the backing, so that the quilt could "grow up" with the baby.
