Albert has died. He had long suffered from diabetes and then chronic renal failure these last two years. He refused to undergo any dialysis treatment and his renal function failed finely about 3 weeks before he passed away. I was told that he refused food and water 3 days prior to his death. He had said last year that he would never accept staying alive being plugged in to any kind of machine.
