Visual Anthropology gives students an opportunity to learn how photography can enhance their anthropological research. Classroom instruction includes learning the mechanics of operating their cameras, the basics of good composition, and how to use Adobe Lightroom as a tool to edit their images. There is also a weekly fieldtrip in which students get hands-on photography experience.
