RJ Corman's Train to The Kentucky Derby and QJ 2008's Return to Lexington with Freight

The steam locomotive pulled the 2010 RJ Corman Derby Train to the new Wick Moorman Wye at Christiansburg, KY, where the diesels took over for the remainder of the passenger trip. Meanwhile, the steam engine was turned and serviced. Six high cube boxcars had been spotted in the south end of the Lewis siding the day before the Derby. These were picked up by the 2008 and used to assist with braking. The freight cars also made an interesting train to photograph the steam locomotive pulling.
