Bucher Glacier

Took a late afternoon flight up onto the ice field with the mission to take company photos for our brochure. I am using my older 50D and was really missing my 1DsII which is in the shop for repairs. The helicopter I was in has a sliding door which I had open most of the trip. With the late light and no windows to inhibit the photo, wow! What an experience. I have made quite a few of these trips but this one rated right up there as one of the best in regards to light and location. The pilot is a good friend of mine who has been doing this for 13 summers now and we went to all of his favorite routes. Will post several of these over the next couple of days. Ron
