Sh-278 is a very faint HII region lying on a line halfway between Beta Orionis (Rigel) and Eta Orionis.

SBIG ST8300M camera with FW5 filterwheel and BAADER LRGB filters.
Lum = 70 minutes
HA = 75 minutes
RGB = 8 minutes each (BIN 2)
