This region lies in the constellation of Sagittarius near the well known "Lagoon Nebula" - M8
It is around 5,800 light years away.
These objects are embedded within a rich star field and contains dark, emission and reflection nebulae.
There are many objects in this frame : IC 4685 (the large reddish nebula below center), NGC 6559, , Barnard 303, Barnard 91 , IC 1275 , IC 1274 and more.
The reflection nebulae are NGC 6559 (to the bottom left), IC 1274 (to the top) IC 4678 at the right.
