We were just 3 hours walk from Bario Asal on the way to Kubaan and Pa' Tik that we met this group of Penans that were carrying sawn timber to sell in Bario for RM10 each. We try to lift the log ourself but couldn't. It was just too heavy despite our usual backpack of 50 lbs usual weight. See in the picture that there is a woman Penan carrying a log too. We also met another group of Penan carrying smoked fish to either sell in Bario or sending it to their kids in the boarding school.
