Regulus

Cootamundra, NSW

Regulus or Alpha Leo, multiple Star System, Primary Star shines at magnitude 1.35. Also known as 32 Leo, HR 3982 and numerous other catalog names.

Above the main star, is the faint galaxy, Leo 1, scattered thoughout the FOV are numerous other extremely faint galaxies.
