Still as an in-house courier,got this as the latest replacement,when I pointed out it would do all the XJ900S would do but more economically.As a precursor to the accident in Nov. 2004,in October 21st 2003,whilst riding down London Fields,a van driver did a u-turn without looking.The bike had little damage and was off the road for 1 week.Incidentally,how's this for coincidence,the person who sent me on the job was Russell.The firm's owner and thus the bike's owner was Russell.And the van driver was called Russell.I was off work for 4 months.It was utterly destroyed on 19/11/2004,on Lambeth Palace Road,London,SE1, IN BRIGHT SUNSHINE,by a London cabbie,doing a U-turn,without looking.He was awarded 6 points plus £1,000 fine.I was off work as a result,for 4 months.Followed by a further 5 months physiotherapy,to learn how to walk upright again.The CPS prosecuted the cabbie,who denied doing it.
