With pieces of old ice cream cartons,pizza delivery discs and gaffer tape,my winter fairing takes shape,once more.It may have to be re-modelled as the tape is definitely below par.
Parked beside the South Downs Way,at The Street.Just re-fuelled.Bear in mind the petrol tank capacity is 12 litres.I just put in 11.12litres,which took me 362kms.= 92.5mpg.Which represents,Romford to Wilmington,East Sussex and back,then two days of Romford to Wood Green,London N22,18 miles each way;not bad mpg.
This scooter was my primary transport throughout 2012,on walk days.Pictured here in the somewhat impromptu car park,on the South Downs Way,by The Street,Wilmington,East Sussex.I feel quite lucky to have finished The Wealdway ldp,when I did,for ,just 4 days later I was struck by sciatica,a debilitating ailment.Now,almost two weeks later,I can hardly walk at all.It was later decided that I had trapped a nerve,due to the complete lack of back pain.
