The cottage on the left,is in fact,"The Moletrap" pub.Very nice it is too;many's the time I've sipped a beer or three in there.The inner front door lintel is set at about 5ft.9ins. with a sign on it for bird watchers,which reads"Duck or grouse".Back in 1998 as I sat outside sipping my lemonade,with my daughter Kirsty,my Rotax 500 parked alongside,in came a Harley 1200.Subsequent visitors all admired the Harley, until one family arrived.The kids wowed at the Harley,but their father,clearly a connoiseur of fine road metal said"Stuff the Harley,kids,look,A ROTAX".We talked over quite a few lemonades.It fair made my day.Years before that I got thrown out of the pub for attempting to tell a second joke.It was 10.30pm and the barman had said"I've heard your jokes,so one only!"The recipient of my humour,laughed at it and asked if I knew any more.It was then that the barman said," I warned you !" and closed the pub.
