Many's the time,as a despatch rider,my bike did break down, and I'd have to hire one of these or a CD185,for a few days until mine was fixed.One morning in 1998,on such as this,I was pulled by The Fuzz,on the A12 in Redbridge.They said their reason for stopping me was"We wondered why you were doing only 35mph,when everyone else was doing 45mph.!"I pointed out that the hire bike's chain was so slack,but unadjustable,and I was heading slowly to the shop for such adjustment as could be done.
