Addendum:In 2015 I went there one morning hoping for a few swan pics,instead I met His Lordship,who pointed out that because the ponds are not stream fed,when the cygnets were born,there was insufficient food for all of the swans,old and young,and that the RSPB had to rehome the whole family.
