I have just bought a house in brigden very old said to be over 100 years!! I was curious in the frst post from 2009 about jane street woundering where that house was? if it is ours!!

I am looking for anyone having knowledge of Lula Mildred Lester B: 18 Jun 1894. She lived in Bridgen, Ontario and was the daughter of George and Mary Lester. She married a John McNamara on Feb 7th 1916 in Petrolia, Ontario.

Did you know that there is a book that was recently published about Brigden. Barbara Leaper is the author. A long-time resident of the area. Lillian Sinclair taught me how to print. I grew up living beside her sister Carrie McDonald. A wonderful women as well. I was very lucky to have known both of these women.

I enjoyed your photos of brigden having lived there in the late 50s .My father built a house in jane st i think it was the last one i see that it has expanded .My Aunt and Uncle stayed in duncan st there house is opposite the new brigden public school they were Lilian and Justin Sinclair .if you or anyone has photos of these locations i would be most interested .I left Brigden in the 60s and returned to Scotland
