I love this shot, Carol. i just posted a gallery entirely devoted to street photography athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/street_photography, and this image is a masterful example of everything I demonstrate in that gallery. The context is very special and beautifully designed, and the incongruity between the waiting firemen and the hurrying pedestrian is wonderful.
