Israel celebrated 60 years of Statehood - May 8, 2008

On May 8th, 2008, Israel celebrated its 60th year of independence and statehood. There were big crowds and an impressive air show including helicopter sea rescue demonstrations and parachute jumps. The evening before there was a beautiful fireworks display and entertainment all around the country.
