Our cardboard box for tonight -

The Sleep-Out for Homelessness exists both to raise awareness as well as raise money for Pennridge FISH to help families in need.
Our youth group has decided to participate in the experience of sleeping outside for a night to remember those families in our local community with no place to sleep or call home.

After serving at FISH, we will return to church where we will participate in some learning experiences about the causes and effects of homelessness,
look at what the Bible has to say about caring for the homeless, and end with a sleep-out in tents that will serve as a very physical reminder of what many people in our area must endure every night.
We will also be taking time in the evening to prepare for the fundraiser meal that we will be serving on Sunday morning.
