The Eureka Prize 2010

Presented annually by the Australian Museum, the Australian Museum Eureka Prizes reward excellence in the fields of research & innovation, science leadership, school science and science journalism & communication.
The Eureka Prize awards are the coverted prize in the Australian Science World, they are often referred to as the "Science Logies" or "Academy Awards of Australian Science"

In 2010 I was honoured that my image of Orions Sword finished runner up (2nd) in the Science Photography category sponsored by New Scientist magazine.

The gala awards night was held on 17 August in Sydney Australia where the winners were announced...I am still pinching myself!
