10/05/2008 - Whitman Firefighters Local #1769 hosted a Poker Run fundraiser. Registration was from 930-1030 at the VFW on Essex St. The run went from the VFW to the Black Raspberry in Plymouth to All Seasons in Halifax to the Lucky Dawg in Pembroke to O'Tooles Pub in Whitman and finally back to the VFW for a cookout. This was the first poker run that Whitman Firefighters have held. Hopefully it will become a yearly event!
