This was so silly, but it was one of those things I found completely irresistible. I've loved that Eagles' song ever since I can remember and when I found out that the city of Winslow had actually erected a statue of a guitar player standing on the corner, I knew I had to go there someday. There is also a cherry red flatbed Ford truck parked there too. Frivolous but it was absolutely one of the highlights of my summer!
