The annual Bright Nights display in Springfield's Forest Park includes a Suessland section. Theodor Geisel, Dr. Seuss, was born in Springfield, MA where he lived on Mulberry Street (which he title a book after; "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street").
In the center of Springfield there is the Dr. Suess National Memorial. It's a sculpture garden featuring many of his wonderful characters.
