New York Hay Bales
inframan

This one is only partially shrink-wrapped.
I'll try to find the totally shrink-wrapped ones because they are wrapped in *white plastic*!
Kind of looks like the sand worm in Dune.

Live birth...I love it. Hilarious!
I agree, Colleen. If I were going to adopt a hay bale, I'd definitely go for a Kansas one.

Well I think the hay bales in New York are much more orderly and organized than the Kansas style of tossing them anywhere. I was driving in the country the other day and saw a massive machine open its back hatch and out rolled a hay bale! It traveled on its own speed for several yards down the field. I was so excited at seeing this live birth.

Funny, bottles, I had a combined polarizer/haze filter on & still the haze showed through so you can imagine what kind of day it was. 91 degrees on my jeep dashboard when I pulled over for the shot.
Imagine Denise & Helen familiar with the Dune sand worm. Who'd of thunk? ;)
Thanks folks.

I like your composition here jp. Also, the slight haze in the distance really enhances the depth perception of the viewer. Nice find and very well captured!

I agree about the sand worm :-) but nice shot; I like the way the bales trail off into the distance. Helen

It looks exactly like the sand worm in Dune!!!!! Nicely done, JP. I like how you can follow the bales into the field and trees.
