(5th) One Time Removed
by Helen Betts

Washington, D.C.

Taken at the Old Post Office building, now a tourist trap and government offices. My original idea was to photograph the clock face from inside the tower, but after hiking up the stairs found that either the light was wrong or there was just no picture. I had an idea from outside as well, but didn't like any of my results. Saw this at the last minute and thought, well, it's different! :-)

I really like your last minute capture! It has happened to me quite often that I thought I would have been finished shooting, then turned around the last time to find the most interesting perspective. :-)
