Highway 88 South of Kirkwood

It isn't unusual to have snow in the High Sierra anytime of the year but to have this much in May is very unusual.
This was truly a sight to see!

Thanks, Frank!!!! I tend to use a really light sharpening but you are so right about this image!! Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. LOL. Uploading orginal to the Demo Gallery.

Denise, it is a very intriguiing scenary that yoou have captured very well. Still I must say that the resized image was to blurry to enjoy. Thus I took the freedom to apply a bit of sharpening and enhancing the contrast and put it into the demo folder.
At my place spring also was different in April, but it was going the other direction. Alll sunshine and temparatures that we would expect in summer!
