Another example of the fury of mother nature when she's in a bad mood. This is in my neighborhood after the passing of Hurricane Wilma and her 110MPH winds. Trees like this didn't just slowly and eventually fall - they were quickly and savagely ripped out of the ground in minutes. Tens of thousands of trees were knocked down throughout South Florida. In my zip code alone, the 600 acre former IBM grounds were used as the dumping grounds for all organic debris during the cleanup. At the end of 2 months, the whole 600 acres was filled, 40-feet high. And that was just one section of one city. That year was a great year for mulch. ;)
