Stormfront Coming*
by Justin Miller

Boynton Beach, FL

I entered this one in a previous minichallenge, so I didn't want to enter it again. This was a typical summer thunderstorm that builds in the late afternoon, comes through in a rage of hell and fury, then ends just as quickly.

Thanks Pearl. Very mild post-processing - I did have to run the shot through a little bit of noise reduction to clean up some graininess in the dark rain area, and the photo was sharpened after it was resized (probably a little oversharpened - btu I did this a few years ago when I wasn't quite as good at post processing!).

You'll get this alot in the summer - you can be standing in very bright sunlight, and have the meanest, blackest storm bearing down on you! 30 minutes of rain and lightning, then everything returns to sunlight again. FYI - This was taken right at the Boynton Inlet beach.
