Daniel, I really had to LOL when I read your comment on the frame. :-D
Well, I am still not over the frames. Depending on the colors I reduced to a thin black line or leave it completely. Thus I cannot promise too much for the next time. ;-) Anyway, thanks a lot for your comment!
What I do not like in this image is where the reflection is located. For the horizontal position I could do a different crop, but this does not work for the vertical position, which was a reason for the re-take.

Lightwise—and that’s what this challenge is all about—I like this image much better than the one your link, Franky, leeds to (both are fabulous, anyway); the other one, though, has one asset this one lacks: the «natural» frame. (Funny it’s me who says so, I know, being the person fighting all *designed* frames around photographs as a perversion and being glad you abandoned that, IMHO, horrible practice...) — db.

This is perfect. The angle is square, the image is muted in its tone, the sun is starting to shine. Good job! JLK

Thanks jp, Martin and Jerry! Yeah, a mini-wanna-be-Gursky ;-)
You know, we are both from Düsseldorf ... :-P

Martin, thanks for pointing on the blue line. It was the result of the fact that I wanted a fully square image, which ended up in the initial crop directly on the blue. I have changed the image to the original crop, where more is left from the bottom windows. Thanks again for highlighting!
Cheers to all! Frank

I always appreciate your images, Franky, because I, too, love geometry and structure in an image. Very nicely done... again!

hehe, Gursky? Gotta agree, and this is another fine example! Very nice work, Frank! :)
(* nothing to critique but to poin to a really minor distraction: bottom-most row, 3rd-last window, the little streak of blue at the bottom caught my eye for some reason)

I love it, Frank. You are the master of the reflective geometric surface.
You are our mini-Gursky. ;)
