I have a thing for brick wall photos... I can't help taking several (dozen) brickwall pics every summer myself. The textures are often fascinating and in this particular pic the textures and shadows certainly create a great pic. There's a lot for the eye to look at.

Jesper, I love the textural patterning and colors of the bricks here...they form a perfect canvas to "walk on". The shadowed form of the steps here really stands out crossing the frame in diagonal...I like the sharp detail and the repeating patterning. Well seen and taken, Jesper...a very nice semi-abstract. Another very nice photo! MFC
