Nice shot - I eat a lot of Chinese food, but I've never seen a Chinese breakfast!

I've wondered for years what they have for breakfast in China, so thanks very much for this, John. I wonder if American dignitaries & business people take their own Rice Krispies along. ;-)
Starting at the left and going counter clockwise: you tiao, (they are like doughnuts but cooked long like a sword. These have been cut up to fit on the plate); zhou (pronounced like Joe, it's porridge made from rice with bits of other things in); mien, crispy noodles with sesame seeds; lo bo gao, (rice cake with some kind of brown sauce on it); other sauces; feng juan, (soft, no more than soft, gooey rice noodles rolled around some tasty things and covered with sauce and sesame seeds). jrdu
John, that's quite a bountiful breakfast...looks very tasty; although I can't identify many of the components here. Nice lighting/exposure...good perspective to appreciate all the portions . I like your catch of the piece of food being dipped with the chop sticks too. Good idea and nice shot, John. MFC
