This kind of little cherry at the end of the stalk is a red paint's drop and is typical of this sort of pears. That's what attracted me.

Another clever idea, Barbara. Your minimal composition and subdued lighting work well with this one. I really like the "landscape' appearance of the pear and the red glow from the 'cherry'. Good idea...nice shot. MFC
