A Little Lustre*

Not quite sure I like the fabric this is resting on,
but I haven't really come up with anything yet,
and wanted to post a little something.
Excellent topic, I just haven't really thought of many ideas yet. :)

Beautiful composition - I love the smooth shine of the ornament, and the specks in the fabric, and the monochromatic color toning which makes the emphasis more on the textures and shapes!

I really like the composition and tone in this - it swerves away from the expected red-blue-green and makes the image much softer, almost sensuous. The glitter / fabric doesn't really detract from the image for me; if anything it adds subtle interest.
