Thanks, everyone. Simon, I didn't apply sepia toning, but did play with the levels a little and a small amount of USM. I think the sunlight (of which we've had very little!) was just right at this moment. Thanks for your comment. Bev

Hi Bev... nice - really nice. I'm gathering you've applied a sepia tone to most of this shot to draw the left-most duck out? If not - that's amazing. Crisp shot with plenty of detail. Well done.

The brown colors work very well here, especially with the stand-out colors of the well lit mallard in back. It has a timeless feel to it.

Well composed, Bev...all the elements seem to be placed just right within the scene. The reflections add a lot to your image too. I like how the coloring on the male stands out against all the browns here. Nice capture of this mallard pair. MFC
