Wonderful light & composition. Everything works just right - the eyes, the hands, the machine, the window. Even the subdued colors.
Definite feel of Vermeer in this.
Wow, an old sewing machine; probably a Singer too. I have the stand and working treadle part from an old Singer that I've converted into a table. The machine itself was missing when I bought it. This is a wonderful shot with good use of the natural light from the window Cynthiana. Very nice composition and exposure too. A good capture and great entry for the challenge!
