Thank you for the comments! Inframan, I agree, it does look like a mike; somebody also had said it reminded them of an electric razor, or hair shears. In any case, the building is truly spectacular, IMO. Helen

In the thumbnail it looks kind of like an old-time studio mike (I think RCA made them).

Right, that's an impressive building. Unusual form and very nice reflections on the windows. I like how the whole is composed and the blue tone of the image. MCsaba
